Can't find app icon location. Which home screen?

I know how to search for an app. I want to know how to find the icon location for an app. Which home screen of the 12 on my iphone. If it's in a folder it tells you the name of the folder it's in when you use the spotlight search function but if it's not in a folder there's no help for finding it. Yes I know that if you search for it and now know what it looks like it is easier to find by scrolling through all the screens. Does apple have a method to tell you which screen it's on. The force touch feature should have an option to tap that takes you to the screen the app is on and the icon start wiggling or something but any help would be appreciated.

iOS does not tell you, in spotlight search an app is located on page 7, if that's what you're asking. It will open You can if you like, make a feature suggestion to Apple via this link --> Product Feedback - Apple
