LIFE360 App Location Services Defaulting back to While Using The App

My family uses LIFE360 on different phones (SE 2020, 6, 6+,XR). Used to work perfectly but I noticed on my XR, it keeps defaulting back to WHILE USING THE APP from ALWAYS.

Almost every week, I have to change this. This started maybe 2 months ago. Any ideas?
