Chinese Apple ID to Australia

Hello.

I have moved back to Australia from China.
I have to hand the company I Phone 8 back. This has a Chinese sim card and a Chinese Apple ID based on the Chinese phone number.
I have bought an I phone 11 and transferred all the information from the old phone via blue tooth. It is using an Aussie apple ID and of course has an Australian number.
Now both phones are receiving the same texts and messages.
I have apps downloaded with the Chinese ID that I need to keep.
I am worried what will happen to these apps that when I hand the old phone back and they switch it off or will the Chinese ID lapse.. Don't know.
I can deregister the old phone number but it looks to me that my apple ID is attached to that phone number

Any advice is very welcome.

You need to change the number on your Apple ID. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime.

Those Chinese purchases are tied to the Chinese ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
