Printing out list of books from my Apple Books library

I would like to print out a list of the books in my Apple Books library. While I am biased in favor of using Apple Books over Kindle I can easily create a list of my Kindle books in Goodreads. I can’t find a similar way to keep track of the books I own in Apple Books. Through the years I have ended up with a collection of ebooks from eclectic sources: Kindle, Apple Books, Google books, Kobo, and a few other places. I would love to be able to sort those in a spreadsheet. I hate to reorder a copy of a book I already own. I don’t need the whole digital book file, just the list of the author and title in a format they could be stored in a spreadsheet,

I believe Apple has locked down the library file so tightly that there is no way to save a catalog of the book titles and authors I own in Apple Books.

First, open apple books app go into the collections part of the app located at the lower part of the Device you will see library. Futhermore, in the library there is a place called collections click on it than go to download or where ever you have the books. then click on something that looks like this ... it has ... 3 dots under the book it says save to a folder. you may to save it in a folder then upload all your books at one time. you can try using shortcuts apple app which allows the use of shortcut attachments to be ediable and used by typing in what you want the apps to do flexiable. if this option does not work connect with apple support app or apple support help for more help on what you need to accomplish.

I have opened the Apple Books app on my MacBook, my iPad, and my iPhone. I can find the ellipsis beneath the book icon. Save to folder is not one of the choices I find on any of the devices. I do find several choices: copy, share book, add to collection, add to want to read, Mark as finished, remove, view in store, rate and review, suggest more like this, suggest less like this, clips, opener, copy clipper, save to copied, keep in gladys, play in zone, convert to PDF, drafts quick capture, Open in iCab mobile, save as draft. I don't find that any of those choices allows me to save the book title and author to a file or a folder.

What am I missing.

To be clear my goal is not to copy the entire book, just the title and author, and to create a searchable database/spreadsheet listing the ebooks I have. If I choose copy and then paste into notes I get the URL that should take me to the ebook with a cryptic name so that it would not be useful to paste it into a spreadsheet. I have some books I have obtained elsewhere that are DRM free that I read in books.

Any books purchased through the Apple Books store have DRM. I am fine with that, just would like a simple way to create a database listing of titles and authors. I hate having to look in five or six places to see if I have bought a book before making a purchase - I don't want to buy the same book twice too many times even if they don't take up shelf space.

Your instructions seem clear and detailed, but I am missing something.

Thanks for any clarification.
