Iphone 11 static noise

Hi, I recently purchased a brand new Iphone 11. I am experiencing static noise on some calls I make. I have elminated the use of different headphones but it still persists. I had an iphone 7 for 4 years and never experienced this issue. It seems that this is a common issue is there a solution or should I take my phone back? It doesnt happen every single time only intermittently but I have to hang up straight away because it is so loud. I also never purhcased apple care is it really worth it? I am wondering if i should get it seeing i am already having problems with new phone.
