What APFS format do I use?

I want to format a new SSD that I installed but I don't know which APFS type I should use. There's like 3 or 4 types so i'd like which one to format it too.

MacBook, macOS 10.13

I'd format it MacOS Extended Journaled or HFS+ it's also called, & let the OS install change it if it wants to.

APFS doesn't hold any real advantages,
