Deleting Photos does not save storage

I have deleted 500 photos from my iPhone XS Max and my storage didn't change at all, further, my "Other" storage increased from 10GB to 15GB. Yes, I did delete the photos from recently deleted. Also, I have restarted the device. What should I do?

The only other "solution" that I'm aware of would be to restore your phone, which would be a bit of a drastic measure but should get your phone back to its "out-of-the-box" state. Otherwise, I suggest that you contact Apple directly by using the link in the upper-right side of this website for further assistance with this matter.
