The only other possibility for removing the activation lock is if you have an extenuating circumstance (e.g., you now are the rightful owner and you can demonstrate that by providing a court order requiring Apple to allow you access to a decease owner's Apple records). But, it does not appear that you have ant sort of extenuating circumstance sufficient to convince Apple Support to remove the activation lock.
