Erasing the Device:

If you have lost your device, and want to erase it, then perform the following...

1. Go Here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch is Lost or Stolen
2. View: Step 6 (Erase your Device).
3. Proceed from there as necessary.

Device Lock and Erasing the Device:

If you have a security pin (6-digits) when logging in, and the person doesn’t get it right a few times, they’d be locked out from there for good.

But, do as I mentioned above reply, seeing if you can erase the device.
