iMac as a external monitor

I would like to buy the new Mac mini (2020) and use my iMac 27” (mid 2011) as a monitor.

Is it possibile?

Use your iMac as a display with target display mode - Apple Support

You will need a Thunderbolt 3 adapter

and a Thunderbolt cable.
