My Macbook Pro 2017 which was purchased in the US on March 2018 now has swollen battery. I have searched on Apple.com and submitted IMEI to check whether mine is eligible for battery replacement or not, the result showed mine is ineligible.
What is the problem? Kindly advise me asap.
P.s: I bought it for personal usage, beside my Mac which was provided by my company. Power cycle count is only 7, I haven't used this often.

Thanks, I contacted Apple support and they told that my Mac is ineligible for battery replacement program, I have no idea about this. Just feel like I spent lots of money then it worn out gradually :(
Thanks a lot, I got received an announcement from Apple Authorised Service Provider in Vietnam this afternoon saying that battery of my Macbook Pro 2017 will be replaced for free. And I can collect it during the next two weeks. Cannot express my thanks to all of you and Apple.

Definitely contact Apple or an AASP since they do have undisclosed free repair programs and I believe there is one for swollen batteries if the computer is less than three years old.

One thing I want to mention: if it is swollen, please do not use it until you get it to Apple. It can swell further and damage other components or cause much worse damage.
