So i tried to get my contacts on my old phone onto my new phone using icloud but after signing in with the same icloud and apple id the contacts on my old phone haven’t transferred onto my new phone,,how can i transfer all my old contacts to my new phone??

Try Settings/Your Name/iCloud and slide off Contacts syncing. Wait a few minutes and then slide syncing on. Allow time for syncing to occur.
Last resort - have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
