sudden message from "Apple" telling me that I have down loaded infected files

Does Apple suddenly interrupt your browsing to tell you that you have down loaded infected files? I know that something has gotten on my computer but I was not expecting message from apple to either chat or call them about this. I chose to chat but when I got to warning in logmein that said private files could be accessed I refused access. I did down load a update file I thought was from Adobe and since then I have had multiple problems with pop ups so I was not initially suspicious as I should have been

It may not help, but try downloading this program which was written by Thomas R, a long time poster. The program will search for malware/adware. The program will do the work for you which makes it easy. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After running the scans, restart the computer.


Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac      10.10 and later.
