Apple Cash not detecting my Apple Pay debit card

I am unable to use the Instant option with Apple Cash. When I try to add my debit card for Apple Cash, it tells me it's already in use in Wallet. For some reason the two are not linking up. I am able to use my debit card with Apple Pay but it's telling me I need to setup a debit card for Apple Cash in order to use the instant option. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
