Received receipt of unrecognized purchase

How do I solve this prob? I received emails for unrecognized purchase several times. When i click at the receipt to cancel it cannot be done. I have changed my appleid password. Checked my subscritions n billings nothing. But last month my phone billings and card was charged for a substanstial amount. How to avoid this?

Apple ID - If you see ‘itunes.com/bill‘ or an unfamiliar charge on your bank, credit card, or debit statement.
