I would like to mirror my iPhone 7 to my iPad Air 2

I have been trying to find out how to do this. I have seen articles that say you can use AirPlay. I have seen other articles that say you can use Switch Control, but I can get either to work. Anyone know if it is possible to cast or mirror my iPhone 7 to my iPad Air 2 so I can send videos via apps (YouTube, Disney+, etc)? I am looking to do this in a car so my son can watch videos...he is still in a rear facing car seat so we can’t reach the iPad from the front seat so mirroring or casting would be ideal. My car has WiFi.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13

You have a good idea however AirPlay only works from an iOS, iPadOS and MacOS device to the Apple TV console or TVs that have AirPlay capability. In short, you cannot AirPlay from your iPhone to an iPad or vice versa.

I know that your car has WiFi and that your iPad can easily play content using that WiFi network on its own. I also know that you wanted to AirPlay from your iPhone to your iPad so that you could control the content for your child while in the car. Good ideas however they are currently not possible.
