where is the "device tab" in Find My app?

Where is the "device tab" in Find My app? My phone is lost somewhere in my house. It’s turned on and charged, and everything is enabled to let me find it. I’m trying to locate it using my iPad and Apple shows the first step after opening the Find My app as select the device tab. There is no device tab. The only thing showing up is a way to turn on location services for the iPad I’m using. Very helpful. I’m ready to start throwing things. Anybody have better instructions for this than Apple?

Hey there, and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Donna-Kate!

It looks like you have questions about where to see the devices tab in Find My. I’d be happy to help!

In Locate a device in Find My on iPad - Apple Support, there’s a photo that shows the window you should see. Within the inset of the photo, you’ll see ‘Devices’ is selected in blue, which is where you’ll be able to see other devices. You can also locate your iPhone using the iCloud website, which is linked in the article provided.

If you’re unable to access Find My due to location services not being enabled on your iPad, it may be worth enabling it in order to locate your iPhone with ease.

I hope that helps, and have a great day!
