Is there a way to add exceptions to Do Not Disturb

My mum has diabetes and I was wanting to be able to have my phone on silent/do not disturb during the night to silence notifications but still need her blood sugar monitor to alert me on the app if her sugar levels go too low while she’s asleep - I know I can get emergency contacts to bypass DND but can you allow specific app notifications to bypass it?
