The iPhone Xr has both an eSIMM and a second physical SIMM. This makes it possible to have two separate telephone numbers, which I have.
QUESTION: How do I set a default, different (distinctive) ringtone for the second line?

It's disappointing that there isn't a distinctive ring option for all of the devices native apps, i.e. Facetime, etc.

As the response in that discussion stated, read the support document. And, when you did, you see there is nothing that describes creating a dual ringtone for the phone. You can provide feedback to Apple here, Feedback - iPhone - Apple
To my knowledge, you can't do it (at the moment).

Don't ever consider anything you say useless. You are a valuable asset to the ASC and I will always cherish being able to call you my friend. Timing is the key, and we both seem to have started close to the same time to post.
