ID Issues re iPad 4th Generation Model A1458

I have had a recent update to 10.3.3 Since then, I cannot access my Apple ID nor my icloud in settings...major problems...I have lost my bookmarks & reading lists too...

Error messages I'm now getting in settings:

  1. When I try to log in to apple ID,iCloud,iTunes & App Store section. Under Name, Phone Numbers, Email section & Password & Security section & Payment & shipping section. I get an "Apple ID Verification" box come up with "Enter the password for (my email) in settings". When I try I get another error box come up with "Authentication Failed"- A server error occurred. In all three of these sections.
  2. When I try to log in to my icloud I get the "Apple ID Verification" box again.
  3. When I try to log in to iCloud Drive I get the "Apple ID Verification" box again...Plus, another error box
  4. "Turn Off Safari" - What would you like to do with the previously synced iCloud Safari data on this iPad? - Keep on my iPad...Delete from my iPad...Cancel.  I've tried all three. I still cannot get into my ID settings.  Added to this, the Family information is not available. Trusted devices list is not available, Plus my Storage section in my iCloud. Are all greyed out, so I cannot access these anyway.
  5. I can sign out of my iCloud, on my iPad, but cannot sign back in. Unless I do so via https://support.apple.com apple-id.
  6. I have checked System Status...and Developer System Status...All services are operating normally.
  7. I have checked the date, time & time zone...correct.
  8. I have tried to Reset Network settings...Reset All Settings (No data or media will be deleted) message came up. So I Reset All Settings.

I don't know what to do next, in order to recover my iPad to its correct settings.  Whatever I'm trying to do, I constantly get the Sign in to iCloud message box...It's like it's stuck in a loop.

Thank you for your quick response donv (The Ghost). I actually went through to the apple support centre, about this the other day. The problem I had, was that the first two agents, (Dani & Arthur) didn't understand my problem and just kept on asking me the same questions. Then I was put through to a Mohammad, whom I believe was a tier further up. He couldn't help me either. he seemed irritable, that I was asking about a 4th generation device. He posted on screen a leaflet about Vintage & obsolete models. Then asked me to check on some info re my device status, etc. whilst I was doing this, he sent a message stating I could only have fifteen minutes free air time with them. Until, I pointed out that they had wasted my time, by passing me around from pillar to post! Then, he agreed to give me the amount of time, it took to solve my problem. He wasn't too happy...so much so, that I got disconnected! I didn't even get to read the leaflet he posted on screen, nor did I get a copy of my conversations. (Except, I screen shot the id numbers, they all used. I believe if it could be a diagnostics error, that my air time, is free. I am unable to continue with this, tonight (other priorities). But, will look at the issue again, tomorrow. I will let you know how I get on.

Is this your problem, a somewhat "new" known issue that Apple is actively working on? I can't guarantee a solution, but, see:

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.

Reset Device.

If necessary

Hard reset.

Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

Restore to Factory setting.

Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
