Can't connect Air Pods Pro to Lenovo Windows 10 laptop - tried everything

I can't connect my Air Pods Pro to my Lenovo Windows 10 laptop. Extremely annoying! Could someone please help? My Echo Dot easily connects to my laptop via bluetooth, so the issue is with the pods. I've tried resetting the device on the laptop, kept lid open, pressed the setup button at the back and nothing works! Would really appreciate some help as this is really eating up my time.
