My AppleTV 4K Continues to ask for my password when purchasing

I follow the on-screen directions when my AppleTV 4K (late 2019 purchase) asks how often to ask for my AppleID password when making purchases. No matter what I do, it always asks for my AppleID and password. Movie purchases, rentals, doesn't matter.

It gives me several choices, and I pick "Never." My son has same model and his doesn't ask for his password. Thank you for any help.
