IMAC Bluetooth Problem

My 2006 IMAC's bluetooth icon shows that is it off. However, it is working. I checked the System Pref. and all is on. What could it be?

MacBook, macOS 10.15

Please try restart in Safe Mode, then restart normally and re-test.
