Text Forwarding Green Bubbles(SMS/MMS)

Can't get iPad to load older or even brand new text messages that are in green bubbles.

Tried disabling/signing out of iMessage on both, restarting, then logging back in and reactivating starting with my iPhone. This DID get the "text message forwarding" option to show back up after the last update, but it's still not updating any of the texts in my message conversations.

If I get an iMessage from somebody, it will show up on my iPad and I can respond no problem but sms/mms don't show on my iPad no matter what I do. Seems to have stopped working a couple weeks ago but I don't have any clue what caused it.

Any suggestions?

“Updating”? SMS texts forwarded from iPhone to iPad do not “update”. They start once you set up text message forwarding.

I don't know a better term to describe them showing up on my ipad "up to date". As of right now, my message conversations are out of date. Text forwarding was enabled the entire time yet, none of the SMS/MMS messages have shown up.

I appreciate the link but that was one of the 1st places I went. Any other ideas?
