How can I share a portrait image from my iPhone to someone else and still have it be in "portrait mode", so they can use the same editing on the portrait image?

iPhone XS Max, iOS 13

The image that you took in portrait mode will look exactly the same on the recipient's iPhone. If you want the other person to edit your photo taken with portrait mode just like you would on your iPhone then the recipient will need to have an iPhone that is compatible with Portrait mode. Phones that are capable of portrait mode are iPhone 7 and newer.
