scrolling on sticky notes in Preview

This is a somewhat stupid question but does anyone know how to scroll on sticky notes added on preview? I often add sticky notes to my PDFs in Preview to write notes in and sometimes I write a lot in one sticky note so not all of the text is shown at once. This wasn't a problem when I was still using macOS Sierra because the sticky notes would expand as you wrote more text but now in macOS Catalina, the sticky notes in Preview are a set size so I have to scroll down to see all the text. However when I click on the sticky note and try to scroll, I end up scrolling on the PDF itself and not the sticky note.

Hello kristyhaha17,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble being able to see all of your text in Stickies. I'd be happy to share information that may help.

Take a look at the"View notes" section of this article: Stickies User Guide. The article provides the following information: "Change the size of a note: Drag the note’s edge (top, bottom, or sides). To maximize the note, click the triangle in the top-right corner. Click it again to reduce the note to its original size."

Take care.
