I need to be able to see Weather Radar when using Car Play, how can I do this? This information could prevent me from driving into a hail storm, flood, or tornado and could save my life. How can I see this critical information through Car Play?
You can't. That's not a feature of CarPlay.
Because your GPS should be giving you driving direction by voice. You should not really be looking at the map screen while driving for detailed information, which you would be looking at for weather radar. The amount of concentration necessary to locate yourself and your travel route on the weather app to determine weather problems would be dangerous. You should have government alerts turned on for the phone and it would provide you with any NOAA weather alerts in the geographic area you are traveling in.

And the distraction of looking at a weather map could potentially end your life or, more importantly, someone else's, even faster than extreme weather could, especially since when you're driving, it's presumed that you can potentially see what the weather is doing at the moment...
Is there an App that can be loaded to display weather radar?
Not that I'm aware of, no.
Given the current era of extreme weather events that we live in today, I guess I'm a bit surprised by this. Weather Radar is something that could save lives.
I guess I don't understand. How is that any different from looking down at a GPS map display, which is allowed in Car Play? Why would a weather map be any more distracting than a GPS Map?????
