ipod classic
I have my ipod back from my daughter and i cant seem to sync it. its connected via the original cable to my laptop(windows) Can anyone help please?

Does the device show in iTunes? Was your daughter using it with a Mac? Have you reviewed your sync selections? See Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support. Syncing with a new computer/library will wipe what is currently on the device.
