Why won’t my watch count my bike ride as exercise?! I ride for 20-30 mins and only 3 mins recorded.

I did! If I track it as anything other that cycling it gives me the minutes.
Mine does the same thing- it tracks ALL other workout but, does NOT read the outdoor bike rides. I could ride for 18 minutes and it counts as zero minutes- so frustrating
