Hi,
I recently formatted my macbook and gave it to my friend. however, I think I did not properly logged out my icloud account before formatting it.
my friend told me the macbook were asking to log in my icloud account.
Im worried if my photos and other datas were showed to my friend even though I formatted my macbook. If it asked my icloud account informtaion, does it mean my datas are all revealed? Does photos staying even after the formatting?

When your friend is in the process of reinstalling Mac OS , and it prompts to enter the Apple ID and password , he can fill up his Apple ID and password rather than yours ( and you should never reveal your Apple ID and password ) .
The icloud data including photos is secured and no one can view unless you reveal the password and other credentials to create the account .

Formatting *should* have removed any traces of your accounts and data.
