You may need to perform a complete factory reset and restore of your iPad.

Have you any backups of your iPad data?

I suspect a typo-error. The latest update is iPadOS 13.4.1.

If iPad isn’t responding, do one of the following:

• On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
• On an iPad with Face ID: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

called apple and it seems I have to send my ipad air2 out for repairs. It is not the software, but something internal..Have an appt. with Bestbuy June 20th for drop off. Is there anything else I can do?

Apple said it is something internal..and that I have to send it out to Bestbuy on June 20th. after restoring twice, the problem did not go away. All widgets are frozen. and it will cost about 300.00 to fix it, I'm too poor for that.

ipad air2 turns on when home button and sleep button done together, but then the screen is frozen and cannot get into anything... please help me
