since i removed an email account from the native mail app now some of my contacts have on name to associated with them on my phone. it looks like the numbers are still there but no names. it has only happened for some of my contacts. any advice?
Add the email account again if you can and that should import the contacts back to your iPhone. Move those contacts to iCloud and then delete the email account if you must.

And that is the tricky part if you do not have a Mac. If you have a Mac and your iPhone and the Mac are signed in to the same Apple ID then you can move them right from the contacts app in the iCloud group. If you do not have a Mac then you can google and see whether there is a third party app on a pc that can help.
Its either that or you can manually add the contacts on your iPhone to the iCloud group OR leave the email account added on the iPhone.
