Unreliable Caps Lock key MacBook Air 2020

Hello,

I recently bought this MacBook Air (2020) and have been disappointed to see how unreliable the Caps Lock key is (amongst other random quirks, one being the silly cooling system, another being the Mail window popping up randomly and frequently when I haven't clicked on it) . I have to really press down on the key to make it work which isn't ideal. What is the solution?
