2018 Macbook Air won't turn on after MacOS update

Almost new MacBook air won't restart after MacOS update. I charged my MacBook air and updated to the latest MacOS. The laptop seemed to update successfully and restarted. I closed the laptop, woke up the next day and it's dead. Not charging and won't respond to command prompts found on google and following apple rep directions.

Has this happened to anyone else?
