suddenly i can no longer save pictures

I’m trying to save pictures from my email to my photos on my iPad. This used to be straight forward and easy but no it just won’t give me the option to save image. This has been occurring since I updated to this version of iOS. I’m using iOS 13.4.1. If I click on the pic it opens in a full screen view. Normally, by clicking the arrow box in the upper right corner, I would get a save image option but now I get “Save to account” (Which then wants me to open an account of some kind) or “Share via file” which opens the box I used to seeing WITHOUT the save image option. I’ve tried every button - nothing allow me to save the image to my photos. No amount of fiddling with the settings has yielded results either. Any ideas?
