Why are random songs/music being added/dowloaded on my Apple Music?

I was on Apple Music looking for a recent song I added on my library when I noticed other random songs were added that I have never listened to the more I scrolled down. For example:


Music’s being added/dowloaded on my apple music account without my approval. It’s an issue because I have bad memory and forget the recent music I quickly add so I rely on my recently added library page to remember before I add them to playlists. I can’t do that if they keep disappearing due to new random music being added that I didn’t personally add. Am I hacked? How do i stop it?

Hi,

Im having this issue as well. I’m not sharing my ID with anyone else. I delete these songs that have downloaded randomly & the next day they’re back again. This has to be some type of glitch!

Hello FaceL89,


I see that you're seeing songs that have been added to your music library that you did not add. I can understand your concern, and I'd be happy to provide you with some information.


Are you sharing an Apple ID with anyone? If so, they could be adding songs, which would cause you to be able to see these songs in your library. If that is the case, you might want to consider creating a new Apple ID for one of you. This would be the only way that this could be happening, unless someone physically had your device in their hand and knew your Apple ID and password. If you think someone has your password, you should change it.

Also, if you are sharing an Apple ID with someone, you can also set up Family Sharing in case you had any purchases that you both would still want to have access to.
