MacBook Air volume mute issue

MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2019) macOS Catalina

Recently, I've been experiencing weird bugs regarding the volume of my macbook air. When I am listening to music or watching a youtube video, the volume mutes by itself. When I check the volume again, the volume is back to normal after a while. It keeps on bugging me and I want to know any solution to fix this issue. Is there any way to fix this? or should I just visit apple store?

P.S. I think my microphone is also bugging. When I'm in a conference chat in microsoft teams, there is constant error saying that there is no microphone found.

Hi,

Resetting NVRAM could solve the sound related issues.
