HP Officejet 8025, 8035, 9015 are all great printers for current Macs, iPads, and iPhones if color printing is a must.

Brother makes much less costly on ink black and white lasers than other models, although if you want to have the flexibility of WiFi setup without a USB cord, only HP has good on screen setup on the models that have a full screen.

The Officejet series above have a full on screen keyboard for WiFi connectivity setup. Once setup on your WiFi your computer uses going to hp.com/support and downloading the drivers are an easy setup over WiFi.

A USB printer cord is needed fo most other WiFi capable printers to setup WiFi, if you don't want to use a keyboard that is a multi-tap select the letter of the key or the number of the key on screen. They do not ship with this cord.

All inkjets have ink tanks that last around 2 years if you buy the manufacturer tanks, and if they are not pulled out for an extended period of time, can dry out and damage the print head, which can cost the whole printer to fix.

Most inkjets must have wet ink in all tanks to function, even if all you do is black and white printing most of the time.

Unless you print more than 75 pages a month (2 pages a day on average), there isn't much sense in buying the larger tank or the ecotank printers that say they come in the box with a certain number of pages, because of the ink drying out.

All smaller tank inkjets come in the box with 40 pages of color and black and white, and you have to buy ink almost immediately to refill them.

Color printing with photo quality is best with 4 or more tanks of different colors.
