My iPhone pro max keep freezing at random screens not specifically with an application but even sometime at unlock screen. It is really disappointing as I see a lot of complains about same issue.
I have called Apple support team seeking help. They guided me till I reset my phone to factory setting. Phone was seem to be ok for a couple of days then back again to freeze...

I understand that you are experiencing an intermittently unresponsive device.
From your response I see that you have already Restored your device to Factory Settings, however the issue persists. At this point, I would suggest you Contact Apple Support and seek hardware service.
