stereo and lack of 5.1

So I have a problem with som movies in my iTunes library. I'm watching them on AppleTV app on Amazon Firestick 4K. Some of the movies play in DD+ 5.1 as they should but some only in stereo. The last two movies I purchased (Top Gun and Die Hard with a vengance) play only in 2.0 yet they are listed on iTunes to have 5.1 tracks. Is there anything I can do on my end or is it up to Apple?

If it's an issue isolated to particular titles then it's probably an issue with the source. You would need to contact iTunes so they can investigate.
