Logic Pro - Instrument won't open on Channel Strip

Hi, I have the latest version of Logic pro, 10.5.0. My Instrument won't open on the channel. What gives? This is going to destroy my projects, making Logic Pro completely unusable. I have the latest OS also, have a SSD and a 16 GB iMac i7. No issues there, no issues prior to these updates. PLEASE HELP!

Logic Pro X - Mixer window going bunkers Hello So i've encountered the most hideous thing today, twice now. The first time i found an inconvenient solution. So now that it happened again, i need help. I've searched wide and far, but can't find anything, so i really hope someone can help me as this problem will drive me absolutely nuts! I can't really describe much about it. I got no idea how it happened. All of a sudden, the order of my channel strips in the mixer window is appearing in a total mess. When i move the channels in the arrangement window nothing happens and they don't appear accordingly. The first time a whole lot of, what appears to be, midi tracks also showed up in the mixer. Although there are no channels in the arrangement view. When i click on one of those "midi tracks" nothing happens and it jumps up to the first channel in the mixer. Hopefully this makes sense combined with the pictures i attach. Let me know if i need to clarify or elaborate anything. I really hope someone can help me crack this nut, before i go nuts myself. Instruments not available / visible in Logic Pro X Hi, I have a strange issue where no apple instruments are available or visible in the instruments drop down menu. it happened out of nowhere without any major changes or update preceding it. the instruments are there via a preset of. Handel strip setting but just not in the menu. I have tried trashing the cache file for instruments and also rescanning in plugin manager where they are visible. It happens even on a new arrange page and I also updated my computer from a 2019 iMac to a Mac studio running Monterey and the issue transferred. any ideas would be much appreciated as it is infuriating! Also if I had to reinstall logic would need to reinstall all my 3rd party plugins?

So if you insert a new instrument channel in new blank project, you cannot select an instrument from the instrument list (not the library)?

I found that if I open a second project, the channel settings seem to freeze and all tracks show the same setting. And can't be changed. One project at a time?

I think the issue is 10.5. I add a plugin to one track on the 2nd opened project and every track adds it. The 2 projects predate 10.5. Never seen this before.
