I have subscribed to Britbox through AppleTV4K. Most shows play as expected but some show episodes do not

I have subscribed to Britbox through AppleTV4K. Most shows play as expected but some show episodes do not play and instead ask that I install the Britbox app. Other episodes and shows still play. Do I need to install the app or does that just result in paying twice for the same content?

If you subscribed through the TV app then you are subscribed to the Apple TV Channel and can only view content through there. The app would be for those who are subscribed directly, and would be separate from the channel version.

If particular episodes are not playing through the TV app then you can contact Apple.
