I think I messed up and created all shared albums but can’t organize them in folders. Can’t seem to move shared albums to regular ones without it reimporting the same images again.

I understand that you wish to create Folders in Photos for Mac to better organize Albums, however you inadvertently created Shared Albums which cannot be sorted into Folders.
At this time, there is no way to convert Shared Albums to Albums. You can import the photos in the Shared Albums, however this will create duplicates in your Photos Library.

You should not need to reimport the photos you copied into shared albums unless you also deleted them from your library. Just add them to the normal albums.
Can you convert a shared album to a regular album without it re-importing the images?
