when I delete an iMessage reaction from a text conversation it leaves a message saying "user … deleted …. reaction type" how can I stop this message from appearing in my txt conversation.

Just select again the reaction you use. It will be removed without deleting the message.

If you are talking about a TapBack reaction to an iMessage such as a thumbs up or a HaHa then it is going to leave that comment since, at this time, it cannot delete the TapBack reaction.

Hopefully it wont be long before apple resolve this oversite
