Airpods pro - Box serial number and case serial number is different
Bought a new airpods pro , box serial no and case serial no is different. Airpods serial no is same as Case serial No . is it fake or not ?

it was a gift from my gf and she paid the actual amount .
Seems like there is something wrong there then. 🤨
Can it be returned to the retailer and exchanged?

At a guess it means that you've got an item that was brought back by a previous customer as faulty, but you'll have to ask Apple to be sure.
