Hi I’m trying to put a SIM card in a phone and keep getting an error message saying the sim isn’t supported.
Ive contacted Vodaphone who phone was bought from and they said it’s not their issue
Can anyone help please?

It is Vodaphone's issue. You may have cancelled service with Vodaphone, but that has nothing to do with whether the phone is locked to Vodaphone. ONLY the carrier can unlock a phone which is locked to them. You'll have to find out what they will require to unlock the phone. That usually requires you to pay off the contract on the phone for them to unlock it. Ask Vodaphone what they will require from you to unlock the phone. We simply cannot help you here.

Vodaphone is the only one that can unlock it. If they refuse you can’t use the phone with EE.
Is the sim you're using from Vodaphone?
No it’s EE.

Only Vodaphone can solve this. We can't help you and Apple can't help you. If you are trying to use a sim from a carrier other than Vodaphone the phone is locked to Vodaphone. If Vodaphone won't unlock the phone, you'll need to establish service with Vodaphone.
