Sim not supported error message

Hi I’m trying to put a SIM card in a phone and keep getting an error message saying the sim isn’t supported.


Ive contacted Vodaphone who phone was bought from and they said it’s not their issue


Can anyone help please?

It is Vodaphone's issue. You may have cancelled service with Vodaphone, but that has nothing to do with whether the phone is locked to Vodaphone. ONLY the carrier can unlock a phone which is locked to them. You'll have to find out what they will require to unlock the phone. That usually requires you to pay off the contract on the phone for them to unlock it. Ask Vodaphone what they will require from you to unlock the phone. We simply cannot help you here.
