I dented my macbook above where the touchbar. It also cracked where the Macbook pro writing is. If it cracked where the writing is, is that the screen that cracked? and also what is the best thing to do for both of these problems?

If you have AppleCare+ it will cover a large portion of accidental damage.

AppleCare+ (similar for iPhone and iPad, each incident of accidental damage) for Mac will carry its own price tag. Screen damage or “external enclosure damage” will run $99 per incident, while other damage, including water damage, will run $299.
