Downgrade to high sierra requires orginal magic mouse and key board.

So I'm trying to downgrade my Imac (mid - 2014) back to High Sierra. I already have the instalation on a flash drive. The process goes as follows. I turn on mmy Mac (while holding "alt") and the reboot options appear. I select "install high sierra" and once the apple bar is completed, just right after clicking on "instal high sierra" the computer requires me to turn on the magic mouse and key board. At this point, both my mouse and keyboard are from another brand and they won´t connect to the computer. I've tried using USB and Cable keyboards and mouses but the computer does not seem to respond to them. What can I do?

Already did that. I'm trying something different now. I'm installing El Capitan and from that i'll try to upgrade to Mac OS High Sierra. I read from other forums and this mouse and keyboard issue is something that happens to other users. The simple solution (which i'm testing now) is to downgrade to El Capitan (which does not require mouse and keyboard connection) and then upgrade to high Sierra.
