Just installed Logic X 10.5 on a new Mac (Mac Pro 2019). I'm downloading and installing all my plugins and it appears that many of them won't open in a multi instrument format (stereo works fine). So far this is true for Spectrasonics (Omnisphere and Stylus), Nexus, EW's Play...
UVIWorkstation and Kontakt are ok.
Anyone having the same issue?

Recently emailed Spectrasonic support, and they told me that it's a bug with the way Logic detects multi-outs. They said a fix will be coming soon, but who knows how long that will be.

FYI there are updates available both from Spectrasonics and NI regarding this issue.

The latest Logic update (10.5.1) fixed this issue.
I have tried multi with EW (Play), Spectrasonics, Izotope.... and everything seems ok so far.
and...... Spectrasonics still not working (even after the update).
Native Instruments plugins seem ok.
This is getting really annoying.
If your multi instruments in Stylus or Omnisphere are ok, please let me know. thx

I can't open any of my old sessions.
Most of my multi output plug ins fail to load in Logic 10.5 I hope a fix is forthcoming soon!
Same here. It is really annoying. I can't open my projetcs fully and I have clients waiting. this must be fixed asap!
Yes same thing here. Finally someone with the same problem. I'm pretty mad to be honest. I recently made the move to Catalina where I had to leave behind a lot of plugins that can't be installed anymore and won't be updated... and now this... The plugin makers are now forced again to update all of their software... This is not very "Pro friendly" if you ask me. I would never have updated when I knew that multi-output plugins would stop working.
I hope Apple will provide a downgrade to the old logic again. I don't care for the live loop features because I compose all music myself in a linear manner. So for me the update is actually a total disaster.
