live photo background

When I first got the iphone se2 (2020 version), I was able to set my wallpaper as a live photo. It worked when I pressed it and it would play. This morning it stopped working, and I was no longer able to set a live photo as the wallpaper. I did some research to see why but nothing worked. What's going on? How can I set it again?
